DeArmanville Elementary Classroom in the Forest

Choccolocco Creek Watershed is always proud to assist DeArmanville Elementary School with their 2nd Grade Classroom! in the Forest! Students and many parents visited Jimmy Cheatwood’s Farm in Rabbittown to learn about nature, environmental stewardship, and agriculture through hands-on activities and lessons.

Wednesday, July 10th, was the official Grand Opening of Choccolocco Kayak in Oxford, Alabama. Over 100 people attended, including many that were instrumental in helping the facility get off the ground.

Kids Fishing Classic 2018

Thursday, May 24, 2018, the City of Oxford hosted the annual Kids Fishing Classic at Oxford Lake in Calhoun County. Hundreds of teachers, volunteers, and special needs students lined the banks of Oxford Lake representing their school for a fishing showdown!
